Nice work. I just tried it out myself on a test wordpress install I have and I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work properly..

I posted a picture with text in the post but it didn’t show up on the front page..

@Sean – Did you add a custom field with the value and name “photo-post”.

You might want to have a look at the readme file, for setup instructions.

    Hope this helps,
    Matt

Okay, i’ve tried it and it’s awesome. Nice job Matt!

Is it possible for you to make it auto-installable?.. You know how you use the wordpress theme installer via the uploader?

    Great!

I’ll check into it and see what’s involved.

This is a great looking theme. Thanks!

are you open to suggeestions? I’d love to keep using this theme, but it’d also be great if it were widget enabled and maybe had an optional sidebar – maybe on the bottom?

Also I could use some documentation on how to use the theme. I finally found your screenshots for the settings, but that’s not the best way to convey that information. Plus it’s very limited. An FAQ page somewhere or a forum would be helpful. I’m having some trouble (like the lightbox function isn’t working for me for some reason, and neither is the archive page)

Anyway, it’s a great theme and you can’t beat the price :-) Thanks again!

@Anthony – Thanks for the kind comment.

I am looking into adding more features in v.2 i.e. widgets, sidebar etc.

Can you please further explain the problem you are having with the lightbox and archives page?

In your demo site for this theme (still version 1.0 i think) the post title in the latest photo appears in the lower right corner of the photo. However when I install the theme, the post title is in the upper left corner of the photo. I hope you see what I mean here. How do I get the post title to appear in the lower left corner of the photo?

@Michael – If the latest post is a video the post title appears in the bottom right (below the video), as YouTube and Vimeo has their own text on the video. If the latest post is a photo the title appears at the top left.

If you want to modify the theme to make the post title always appear at the bottom right, you will need to open index.php and remove everything on line 18-22 and then move everything on line 43 below the endif on line 45.

    Hope this helps.
